(Acts 2:46-47 NIV) Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
(1 Corinthians 1:24 NIV) Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, because it is by faith you stand firm.
(2 John 4 NIV) It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us.
(3 John 3-4 NIV) It gave me great joy to have some brothers come and tell about your faithfulness to the truth and how you continue to walk in the truth. 4I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
(Nehemiah 8:10 NIV)  Nehemiah said, "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."
(Psalms 28:7 NIV)  The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.

Text Box: The result of walking In His Footsteps is godly righteousness, the peace that surpasses all understanding, and the joy of the Lord.
(Romans 14:17-19 NIV)  For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men.  Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.
Godly righteousness comes by our participation in the Gospel message through humble obedience (Romans 5:19-21; 1 Corinthians 1:30).  We obtain peace by surrendering our lives in full trust to Jesus (John 14:1).  Joy is the end result of a life that finds its fulfillment and meaning as a son of the most High God.  Joy is a by-product of a purpose-filed life in Christ.  A life that has found what the meaning of life is all about through the Gospel message of Jesusóthe kind of life that can only be born through the death of self and the rebirth of the spirit through faith in Jesus and in the Spirit who lives within (Romans 6:3-9; Acts 2:38).
Those who are citizens of the Kingdom of God, heirs of eternal life, those who listen to the Shepherd, the remnant of Israel; know that the life they lead in Godís Kingdom is not about their dreams, their desires nor their pursuit of earthly gain.  They have willingly and gladly given everything up to be re-shaped, re-molded and washed in the blood of the lamb and the gentle hand of God through His Spirit living in them (Romans 12:1-2).
Only a mind that is focused on the Spirit and aware of the riches we have in Jesus can powerfully generate positive dynamics in their earthly relationships.   As we walk In His Footsteps, husbands, wives, sons, daughters and all family members in Christ will shine forth and salt the earth with the goodness of God innate in them through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5-8).  These relationships we have with each other and in Christ-centered families will show the world that we are His disciples (John 17:23), following Him and holding out the word of life (Philippians 2:14-16) to those who are weary and heavy-laden by the burden the world places on them (Matthew 11:28-30).
What a privilege to have, hear, understand and live the words of our Lord and Master, who calls us friends and heirs to the ultimate goodness and glory!  Be blessed as you obey Him wholeheartedly!

Text Box: Righteousness,  Peace & Joy

What are the fruit of your walk in Christ?Do you just know enough about your Christianity to make you miserable because you long to indulge in your fleshly desires?Do you look upon God as Him just subjecting you to torture because He commands you not to indulge so you can live with Him forever? Is this what you think about the Savior and Godís love for you?Read Psalm 16.What kind of spirit do you see reflected in these words?Would you say the person who wrote this (David) was a joyful person, secure in their faith and thankful to the Lord? What does David think about life without the Lord (verse 2)?What does he see in his fellow saints (verse 3)?How did he feel about those who practice evil (verse 4)?Did David see himself in control of his life (verse 5)?How did David look at Godís commands, as inhibiting or protective (verse 6)?Why did he rejoice and was secure, because he followed his heart or because he always set God before him (verses 7-9)?What was David filled with (verse 11)?Why was he filled with this instead of the world? In Psalm 51, David laments because he sinned against the Lord and hurt his relationship with God.What happened to his joy (verse 12)?Our joy leaves us when we try to get value from the world as opposed to Godís approval (righteousness).Read Psalm 118:24; Luke 2:10; and Matthew 5:11-12.

The rat-race of this age and times lead to stress-filled lives.Arguments, quarrel and discord reign when our attention and energies are set on the rat-race rather than on the victorious race which you have already won in Jesus if you are a participant of the Gospel.Read Philippians 4:6-11.Should you be concerned and worried about what you cannot change?Instead of worrying, what should you do to remind yourself of Who is in control? What will guard your heart and your mind from sinning during rough times that could cause stress?Read Revelation 19:7-9.If we focus on what we (Christís Bride) are being prepared for, what will your attitude and disposition be?What kind of clothes are you being given to wear? Are you wearing them (by being obedient to Godís word)? Those who are invited to the wedding supper of the lamb are _________.Are you invited? How do you know? Are you blessed? If your mind is on the rat-race rather than on the wedding supper of the lamb you will know nothing of what this means. Read Matthew 6:24-34.

The joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).The temporary cheap joy you get from the world doesnít give you the strength to walk like a sin/daughter of God.The strength comes from the Spirit and living by the Spirit in turn brings real joy.Jesus enables us to WALK by His Spirit living in us (Ephesians 3:16-21; 2 Timothy 1:7)!If Jesus can walk on water we can definitely WADE through this life!He left us Himself in Spirit form living in us (John 14:16-18)!Read Matthew 25:14-30.What is the inheritance that awaits us (verse 21)?Are we partakers of this joy and happiness if we distrust or disobey God?Read Romans 8:18.Should you let your present suffering discourage your walk in Jesus? How should you view the challenges and trial you go through (James 1:2-4; 1 Peter 4:12-19)?Remember that the Lord is faithful and will not test you beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). How awesome! The Lord is kind and gentle, always choosing to plead with us, not FORCE us to yield to Him.The way of the Cross is a way that needs to be obeyed in LOVE and full hearted devotion!Read about Jesus tender ways in Matthew 11:28-30; Revelation 3:20; Hosea 2:14-23; 11:8-11.

Do you have a false concept of Jesus? If you do, you will not know how to WALK in His path and bear the fruit of righteousness in Him, namely peace and joy: Read Matthew 25:24-25.Did this man have a false concept of Jesus? What did he accuse Jesus of being? What did Jesus respond in verse 26-27?Are you holding back on Jesus because you do not really know who He is?Can you hear His voice (John 10:1-6, 25-30)?Remember Matthew 7:21-23?Only those who know Jesus will enter the Kingdom of Heavenóthose who know the Fatherís will, because Jesus and the Father are one (John 10:30; 14:18-21).

You can do it!Jesus has given you the power through His Spirit. Read Philippians 4:13; 2 Corinthians 12:9, 10.However, only if you allow the Spirit of God to transform you (Romans 12:2), can you grow in your understanding of what you have in Christ, as we are taught in 1 Corinthians 2:12-16.If you continue to pursue the things of the world, can you accept what the Spirit teaches you through the Word of God?Can you therefore have any joy from the awesome things God has given you?Must you be able to judge (discern) spiritually in order to tell the difference between foolishness and spirituality?Remember, you are a son/daughter of God and in Him you have everything! He has enabled you to walk and be holy, as He is holy.Walk in His Footsteps and experience the power of living the abundant life!Read Romans 8:11-14.Whoís Spirit is in you? What is your obligation to?Whose son/daughter are you?Read Philippians 1:27; Colossians 3:23.How should you conduct yourself? How should you work?

Öthere is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.. óLuke 15:10
